Privacy at BeatsVine

Last updated: February 2026

Let's be real — you've probably scrolled past hundreds of privacy policies without reading a word. We get it. So here's ours, written like humans for humans.

The short version

We only ask for what we need, and we only store what you explicitly give us. Our analytics are self-hosted on our own servers — we see aggregate numbers like "500 people visited today", not who they are. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. Full stop.

What we collect — and why

If you create an account:

  • Email address & password — to let you sign in and manage your pages. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id (one of the strongest algorithms available). We couldn't read your password even if we wanted to.
  • Track information & links — the content you add to your landing pages. You own this. We just display it.
  • Payment details — handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.

For everyone who visits:

  • Aggregate analytics — we use self-hosted analytics (Umami) on our own servers. This tells us things like "this page had 500 visitors today" and "200 people clicked the Spotify link." It does not tell us who those people are.
  • No tracking cookies — our analytics don't use cookies at all. The only cookies on this site are essential ones to keep you signed in.
  • No fingerprinting — we don't build profiles or track you across the web.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone. Ever.
  • We don't share your data with advertisers.
  • We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker.
  • We don't track you across other websites.
  • We don't serve ads.

Affiliate links — full transparency

When someone clicks a streaming link on a BeatsVine page, we may append an affiliate identifier to the URL. This is how we keep the free tier free. Here's what that means:

  • The affiliate tag does not change the destination — you still go to Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
  • It does not affect pricing or availability of the content.
  • It does not contain any personal information about you.
  • Pro subscribers can use their own affiliate identifiers instead.

Who can see your data

  • You — you can access, export, or delete your data at any time.
  • Our payment provider — processes payments securely under their own privacy policy.
  • Law enforcement — only if legally required, and only the minimum necessary.
  • Nobody else — seriously.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we believe you should have control over your data:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, reach out via our contact form. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

BeatsVine is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you via email before they take effect. We won't sneak changes in — you'll always know what's changed and why.

Questions?
